Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technology Operations – Bus, Truck and Trailer

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice Truck Body Maker to join our Engineering team at Somersby.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn on the job in our state-of-the-art workshop. You will learn how to manufacture and repair truck bodies, trailers and other associated automotive equipment.

To be successful in this role you need to be dedicated and strive to improve your knowledge and performance each and every day. Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest for the industry and possess a passion for truck body building.

Our successful Apprentice will have:

- Completed year 10 at school
- Strong mathematical and basic mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and quality
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A positive approach to workplace safety




- An ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to Somersby
- Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship including TAFE studies
