WAICE Seals is seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team in Perth.
We specialise in manufacturing high-performance hydraulic seals and seal kits for the mining, earthmoving and heavy equipment industries. Our products operate in demanding environments where precision, quality and reliability matter.

About the role
Working alongside our experienced team, you'll receive hands-on training and develop the skills required to become a qualified CNC machinist.
Your training will include
- Learning to set up and operate CNC lathes and precision machining equipment.
- Manufacturing hydraulic seals and components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Working with specialised polyurethane, engineering plastics and other engineering materials.
- Using precision measuring instruments to inspect components and check tolerances.
- Developing an understanding of technical drawings, machining processes and quality control.
- Assisting with production activities and maintaining an organised workshop.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
As your skills develop, you'll be given opportunities to take on greater responsibility and build your confidence in precision manufacturing.
About you
We don't expect you to know everything already. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in mechanical work.
You'll ideally have
- A strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in machinery, engineering or manufacturing.
- Good attention to detail and pride in doing a job properly.
- A reliable, punctual and responsible approach to work.
- A willingness to learn, take direction and accept feedback.
- High math's skills and an interest in technical problem-solving.
- The ability to work safely and contribute positively to a team.
Previous CNC machining experience is not essential. School leavers, first-year apprentices and candidates with relevant workshop experience are encouraged to apply.
