About the role

Your recent role as our Asset Manager, Property calls upon well-developed set of skills gathered by working in diverse complex industries. These skills include professional business management, authority, responsiveness and decision making.

Your primary goal is to lead the strategic management of property asset information, systems, planning and governance across the portfolio.

Wearing many hats as an Asset Manager, Property you will need to ensure accurate: -

- Asset data management, creating resource reports
- Costing and financial oversight
- Business case development
- SAP usage and regulatory compliance
- Hazardous materials management and property reporting frameworks
- Supporting informed decision-making, investment prioritisation, operational effectiveness, risk management, and the sustainable delivery of property assets and services.

Office based you will also visit FRV sites across Victoria developing relationships assessing and managing diverse assets and the people that they impact.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Lead the development, implementation, optimisation and ongoing management of asset management systems and applications across the property portfolio
- Ensure systems, business processes and reporting frameworks support evidence-based decision-making, lifecycle planning, regulatory compliance and effective property asset management
- Accountable for the governance, integrity and utilisation of property asset data, including asset capture, condition assessments, data migration, asset registers and the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maximising the value, accessibility and reliability of asset information across the organisation.




- Lead the asset condition assessment programs and lifecycle planning activities across the property portfolio, ensuring accurate asset data, long-term maintenance and replacement forecasting, informed investment decisions, effective risk management, and ongoing operational functionality.

About you

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Property, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic asset planning and portfolio management
- Postgraduate study, professional accreditation or management qualifications will be highly regarded

Proven experience managing complex property portfolios, developing long-term asset management plans, implementing asset management systems and maintaining high-quality asset data. Demonstrated ability to prepare funding bids, business cases and strategic reports, and effectively engage stakeholders on asset investment priorities and portfolio performance.
