Brisbane

Meaningful counselling work. Dedicated appointments. Genuine therapeutic relationships.

- Provide scheduled telephone counselling to women and gender-diverse people across Queensland

- Build ongoing therapeutic relationships rather than providing one-off helpline support

- Join a warm, collaborative and supportive counselling team

Are you an experienced counsellor looking for meaningful work where you have the opportunity to build genuine therapeutic relationships?

Women's Health and Equality Queensland (WHEQ) is looking for a compassionate and skilled Counsellor to join our 1800 4 WOMEN team for a fixed-term, part-time contract until 31 December 2026.

We provide counselling, therapeutic groups and health services for women and gender-diverse people, as well as health promotion, community programs, professional education, and systems change.

Our vision is for women to be equitably resourced, healthy, safe and thriving.
