Nonna's Cucina is a not for profit charity organisation providing home-style cooked meals to the aged and vulnerable community in South Australia.
Nonna's Cucina is looking to add new members to our team in the following roles: Barista/Wait Staff. In each of these roles you will play a crucial role in ensuring our cafe is a welcoming place to visit and runs smoothly.
All profits raised through Nonna's Cucina Cafe directly support our home meal delivery serivce, so you can work knowing it is helping our charity organisation.
Barista/Wait Staff Duties:
- Craft a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe and quality standards
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide an exceptional guest experience
- Use and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Wait tables, collect and clean dirty dishes
- Process payments through cash registers and POS systems
- Uphold food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
Nonna's Cucina is looking for someone that:
- With solid coffee knowledge and preferably 6-12 months Barista or Cafe work experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-pasted environment
- Can work in a team player and independently
- Has a strong work ethic and is punctual

Availability
Our opening hours are from Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, and Saturdays 9am to 3pm.
You may be required to work some out of hours private functions.
