Marvel Bookbinding & Print Finishing is Australia's largest trade bindery. From our West Heidelberg factory we bind and finish books for printers and publishers right across the country, from perfect bound and PUR through to section sewn and case bound hardcovers. Our average staff tenure is over 15 years, and we keep investing in our equipment.
The role
We're adding experienced operators to the team and we pay properly for the right skills. If you've set up and run any of these, we'd like to hear from you:
- Polar guillotines
- Stahl or MBO folders
- Müller Martini or Heidelberg saddle stitchers
- Wohlenberg or Müller Martini perfect binders
- Kolbus Case Making or Hard Cover Lines
What you'll be doing
- Setting up and running your machine from the job ticket
- Make-readies, quality checks and keeping work moving through the factory
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting
What we're looking for
- Solid hands-on experience on at least one of the machines above
- Pride in your work and a good eye for detail
- Reliable, safety-minded and easy to work with
- Own transport preferred
- Full Australian working rights

- Day shift, 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available
