Headquartered in Canberra, Vatee Markets is now looking to expand its presence in Sydney. As part of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to help establish our new Sydney office, develop business relationships, and build a strong local team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development & Office Manager to take an active role in establishing and developing our Sydney office. This is a hands-on position combining business development, office management, and team leadership. You will work closely with senior management to develop business opportunities, build industry relationships, coordinate office operations, and support the growth of our Sydney-based team.

We are particularly interested in candidates who understand the Forex and CFD brokerage industry, have strong commercial awareness, and are looking for an opportunity to take on greater responsibility.

As the business grows, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead a local team and take on broader management responsibilities.





Key Responsibilities

· Assist in establishing and managing Vatee Markets' new Sydney office. · Identify and develop recent business opportunities and establish strong relationships with industry partners and professional networks.

· Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of local team members.

· Work closely with senior management to develop and implement business growth strategies.

· Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a professional and productive working environment.

· Coordinate with internal trading, operations, marketing, and compliance teams.

· Monitor business performance, prepare regular reports, and work towards agreed business objectives.

· Contribute to the development of a strong, collaborative, and high-performing team.

· Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.

About You

· Previous experience in the Forex, CFD, online brokerage, or related financial services industry. · Experience in business development, sales management, team leadership, or business operations.

· A strong understanding of the Forex and CFD brokerage industry and its commercial setting.

· Existing industry connections and professional networks would be highly regarded.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.





· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple responsibilities.

· A practical, hands-on approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

· Leadership potential and an interest in building and developing a team.

· Based in Sydney or willing to relocate, with appropriate Australian working rights.

Previous experience in establishing or managing an office or sales team would be a strong advantage.
