Zebra Building Pty Ltd is a Queensland-based building and construction company specialising in residential renovations, extensions, bathroom and kitchen renovations, and general building works.

Due to ongoing business growth and increasing project demand, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out carpentry work on residential renovation, refurbishment and construction projects.
- Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and install timber and other building materials.
- Construct, install and repair timber wall frames, floor structures, roof framing and other structural components.
- Install doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves and internal fittings.
- Undertake renovation, maintenance and repair work on existing residential properties.
- Identify and repair damaged or deteriorated timber structures.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality, safety and building standards.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades.
- Maintain a clean and protected working setting.

Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant carpentry trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).




- Minimum 2 years of relevant carpentry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in residential construction, renovations and carpentry work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools, equipment and machinery.
- Sound knowledge of Australian building practices and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver's licence.
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
