We're currently looking for an experienced and reliable Casual Chef to join our kitchen team, working across Culshaw's Restaurant in Adelaide CBD and Cottage Kitchen Restaurant in North Adelaide.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing quality food and is looking for flexible casual work within a supportive team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
- Managing food preparation and service in a busy à la carte kitchen.
- Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion standards.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
- Managing stock rotation, food storage and minimising food wastage.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintaining a clean,
organised and efficient kitchen environment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience working in a similar chef role.
- Previous à la carte cooking experience is essential.
- Availability to work dinner shifts is essential.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, with shifts varying between 6am and 10pm.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude.
