Technical Lead – Mining & Construction Technology

IndustryOS builds technology for some of the toughest working environments there are: underground mines, tunnels and major construction projects. Our platform brings sensor data, analytics and day-to-day operations together, so site teams can see what is happening and also understand why.

We have three products, and each one solves a real problem on site:

Minefox is a cloud-based mine operating system. It covers planning, KPI tracking, meeting sync and digital shift reporting, so paper shift notes become structured, searchable data.

Safecrete puts wireless sensors directly into shotcrete as it's sprayed. Crews get real-time curing and strength data, so re-entry decisions rest on measured strength rather than manual testing or guesswork.

Safewall monitors paste barricade strength in real time, so plug pours restart only when the wall can take the load.

We're growing quickly. This year we acquired Minefox and signed a commercial framework agreement with Sika. We've also partnered with Quattro to develop smart barricade wall systems, and taken Safecrete into the Hong Kong construction market. Our clients and partners include Talisman, Mammoth Underground and Argo Natural Resources.

The role

This is a new business role. You'll own the sale from the first conversation through to the signed contract. We already have demand, and your job is to turn it into customers.

Build and close new business across coal and hard rock mining, tunnelling and construction





Work with our industry partners, who will help open doors

Run product demos yourself and talk credibly with both crews and executives

Cover a territory that's mainly Australia, with growing APAC and international opportunities

Feed what you hear from customers back into the product and the strategy

No two weeks will look the same. One day you might be underground in a mine, the next in a boardroom, and the next talking to a tier-one construction contractor about a tunnel project.

About you

You're comfortable with people and comfortable with technology. You know how a site actually runs, and you can explain how a sensor, a dashboard or a planning tool makes someone's shift safer and more productive.

Experience selling technology, software or IoT into mining, construction or both

Technical skills that carry across both sectors, such as concrete, ground support, sensing, digital operations or similar

Relationships at site and corporate level

Enough technical depth to run the demo and handle the hard questions yourself

Strong people skills: you build trust quickly and keep it

Comfortable in a growing business where you'll shape the role as much as fill it
