Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Dental Assistant role based in Sydney, NSW.

The Certified Dental

Assistant will support dentists chairside during examinations and procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for use. Daily responsibilities include assisting with patient intake, explaining basic oral care instructions, maintaining accurate patient records, and managing inventory of clinical supplies. The role also involves strict adherence to infection control protocols, including cleaning, sterilization, and organizing instruments and equipment.

Assistant will contribute to a positive patient experience by providing compassionate support, answering questions, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical support skills in Dental Assisting and Dentistry to effectively assist with procedures and exams.
- Knowledge of Dental Care and Oral Care practices to provide accurate patient education and reinforce treatment plans.
- Proficiency in Sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and compliant clinical workplace.
- Recognized certification or qualification as a Dental Assistant, with current registration or licensure as required in NSW.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide respectful, inclusive care to patients of all backgrounds.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and reliability in managing time, documentation, and clinical workflows.
- Experience in a general or cosmetic dental practice setting is highly beneficial.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental practice management software or electronic health records.
