As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Chef who can bring passion, consistency, and creativity to our kitchen. About the Role

This is a full‑time position where you’ll be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking a variety of dishes across our menu. You’ll work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking menu items using authentic South East Asian techniques and ingredients
- Planning and organising daily kitchen operations
- Monitoring food quality, portion control, and consistency across all dishes
- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage
- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff when required
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards are followed
- Contributing to menu development, seasonal specials, and new dish ideas




- Coordinating with front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods

What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who brings both skill and heart to the kitchen. Ideally, you will have:
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, especially Chinese, Thai, or Malaysian dishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- Good communication skills and a calm, organised approach during busy service
- A commitment to cleanliness, safety, and professional kitchen standards
