We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to oversee kitchen operations and help deliver exceptional dining experiences at Jurien Bay Beach Café. This is a full‑time position based in Jurien Bay, WA.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support the kitchen team, including planning, coordinating, and supervising all food preparation
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen setting in line with all regulations
- Work collaboratively within a small, close‑knit restaurant team
- Assist with ordering and stock control
- Contribute across Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner services
- Communicate effectively with FOH staff to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Chef
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, flavoursome dishes
- Confident leadership and people‑management abilities
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Availability for weekends, public holidays, day and evening shifts
- Relevant culinary qualifications
- Valid working rights in Australia

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
