We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our professional and dynamic kitchen team. You will be working in our Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Restaurant situated on the hilltop behind Murray's brewery. Sunset+Vine overlooking the beautiful Wonganella vineyards, rolling hills, lush greenery, water views & the most gorgeous sunset views.
Experience in Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisine would be advantageous. Our Chef/Cook will be committed to the running the kitchen and assisting our agile owners in producing the most delicious and unique food experience in the Bay area, but will also enjoy a great work life balance in this beautiful part of the world.
The ideal candidate will be required to be punctual, self motivated, passionate about food and the culinary industry, display strong management & leadership, effective time management skills and be able to help lead a small team. Patience and polite demeanor is appreciated.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to -
Ensuring quality food across the entire venue for regular service and functions To manage food costs and meeting budgets
Food Safety and OH&S; To contribute to menu development and designing special seasonal offerings
Ordering and management of food, including checking quantity and quality of products received
Monitoring and maintenance of stock
Working closely with key managers to develop a high standard of communication and collaborative problem solving
