About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Christmas Casuals to join our team at 2 Dollar Superstore, Southland, over the busy Christmas period!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, helping customers and being part of a friendly team. With Christmas being one of our busiest times of the year, we are looking for team members who are ready to get involved, work hard and help make the store look its best.
HOURS: roughly 4-20 per week depending on the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Operating the register and handling cash transactions accurately
- Replenishing stock and keeping shelves fully stocked and organised
- Assisting with deliveries, unpacking stock and pricing products
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented store
- Keeping shelves, displays and store areas organised throughout the day
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and finding items
- Following store procedures and working collaboratively with the team
About You
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Friendly and confident when interacting with customers
- Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Willing to take initiative and stay productive during shifts
- Comfortable with standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting stock
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Available to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, evenings and weekends throughout the Christmas period
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but is not essential. We welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn. What We Offer
