About This Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Automotive Mechanic to join out team in The Gap. It is a full time role working 4 days a week. You will be responsible for providing servicing, maintenance and expert repairs to a variety of cars, including 4wd and hybrid vehicles.
Your Responsibilities:
Carry out servicing & repairs on all makes & models of cars & 4wd
Use diagnostic tools to locate and repair faults
Carry out general repairs, including brakes, clutches, steering & suspension, transmissions, cooling systems, timing belts, air conditioning etc
Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are operating correctly & safely
Be able to fit tyres & do wheel alignments (training provided if required)
Work as part of our team or be able to work independently
Be able to maintain productivity targets
Maintain a safe work environment for all staff & visitors
Supply your own fully equipped tool box
Report to the Service Manager
Skills Required:
Trade Qualified Mechanic Cert lll in light Vehicle
Minimum 5 years experience as qualified automotive mechanic required
ARC Car Air Conditioning License
QLD Transport Safety Certificate License
Honest and reliable work ethic
Robust diagnostic and problem solving skills
Must be "fit for work" to perform job tasks competently and safely
Must be a non smoker/vaper
Australian citizenship/permanent resentence required for this position
