We are seeking a diligent Public Amenities Cleaner to service public toilets and BBQ facilities across the Ballarat area. This role is field-based and requires an early start, rostered weekend work, and occasional evening shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise public toilets and BBQ facilities to defined standards
- Replenish consumables (e.g., paper products, soap) and remove waste
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures and use PPE correctly
- Complete basic shift records and communicate any issues promptly
- Travel between sites within the Ballarat region
About you
- Must reside in the Ballarat area
- Current driver licence
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain before commencement
- Availability for early mornings, rotating weekends, and some evenings
- Solid work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently
- Physical capacity to perform manual cleaning tasks
