Are you an experienced clinical education qualified looking to leverage your skills and expertise in a dynamic role? Medical Training Solutions is seeking a Clinical Education Facilitator / ALS Instructor to join our team in Osborne Park, WA. This full-time (or 2 part-time) position offers the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of healthcare providers and play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver world-class medical training.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing and facilitating engaging resuscitation skills training programs for healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics and medics
- Delivery of ARC accredited ALS1 & ALS2 courses
- Providing hands-on instruction and mentoring to ensure trainees develop necessary skills and confidence
- Evaluating training effectiveness and continuously improving course content and delivery methods
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices
- Contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of our training resources and materials
- Supporting the broader team in the coordination and logistics of training programs
- Equipment & supplies procurement
- Flexibility with workdays & hours. Occasional regional & outer Perth metro travel.
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic
- ARC accredited ALS1 and/or ALS2 instructor or working towards this
- Extensive experience as a clinical educator or instructor
- Critical Care specialty area experience preferred
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire trainees
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audience needs
- A passion for continuous learning and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest clinical developments
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Recognised education qualifications an advantage
