A note from our Founder

Hey there,

I'm Jaz, Co-Founder of Modus Brewing and NORT.

We're an independent, family-founded brewing business, proudly Australian-owned since 2014. Alongside Modus, we've built NORT into Australia's leading independent bottled non-alcoholic beer brands. Two very different brands, both with plenty of opportunity ahead.

And we're looking for someone pretty special to help us grow them.

There aren't too many opportunities in Newcastle to work inside an FMCG business, getting involved in everything from new product development and national retail campaigns to brand strategy, digital marketing and eCommerce. This is one of them.

You'll work directly with me and alongside our small, passionate marketing and sales team. I love the creative side of our business, so expect plenty of ideas flying around. We need someone who can bring their own ideas, a bit of structure and, most importantly, make things happen.

We're a small business, so there's no room for egos or "that's not my job". One day you'll be planning a NORT campaign, the next launching a Modus limited release, packing online orders or helping out in the brewery. We all get stuck in.

You'll learn a hell of a lot, have genuine influence and see your work come to life. And for the right person, there's real opportunity to grow in responsibility, seniority and remuneration as the business grows.

About the role

As our Brand & Marketing Lead, you'll help drive the planning, coordination and execution of marketing across Modus Brewing and NORT.

You'll work alongside our Venue Marketing & Sales Lead, Sales Marketing Coordinator and part-time packaging designer, with plenty of collaboration and crossover between roles.

You'll take ownership of our brand campaigns, marketing calendar, product launches, social media and eCommerce, while working closely with our sales team on commercial strategy and campaigns that drive results.

This is a hands-on role combining creativity, commercial thinking, organisation and execution.

What you'll be doing

Brand Marketing - Modus & NORT

- Plan and deliver brand campaigns across Modus Brewing and NORT.

- Coordinate new product launches, limited-release beers, seasonal campaigns and brand activations.

- Manage Modus and NORT brand social media, content calendars and email marketing.

- Work with our Founders,



brewers and designers to bring new products, packaging and brand stories to life.

- Help grow NORT's brand awareness, consumer engagement and presence across retail, online and other channels.

- Ensure both brands maintain their own distinct personality and consistent look and feel.

Sales & Commercial Marketing

- Work closely with our sales team on marketing strategy, national retail campaigns, promotions and brand activations.

- Develop marketing plans that support retail ranging, new product launches, independent retailers and direct-to-consumer sales.

- Collaborate with our Sales Marketing Coordinator on trade campaigns, promotional assets and sales initiatives.

- Bring commercial thinking to marketing decisions, focusing on awareness, trial, repeat purchase and sales growth.

Digital, eCommerce & Content

- Share responsibility for our websites, digital advertising and online marketing with our Venue Marketing & Sales Lead.

- Manage brand website content, online product launches, promotions and eCommerce activity.

- Plan, build and deliver EDM campaigns across Modus and NORT.

- Coordinate content creation, photography, video and campaign assets.

- Monitor digital performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and online sales.

- Support online orders, customer enquiries and fulfilment when required.

Marketing Planning & Organisation

- Own and maintain the marketing calendar across Modus and NORT.

- Develop campaign plans, project timelines and transparent deliverables.
