Middle Office Analyst - Multiple 12 month contracts

Exciting prospect to join a leading, global financial services organisation in a diverse Middle Office role supporting investment portfolios across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, FX, OTC derivatives.

Working within a collaborative team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational oversight of assigned investment portfolios, ensuring accurate trade processing, cash management, reconciliations and timely settlement of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily cash and position reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor cash movements and ensure timely settlement of investment transactions.
- Provide daily cash and position reporting to Front Office stakeholders.
- Support trade lifecycle activities across fixed income, equities, FX, OTC derivatives and private market investments.
- Assist with daily unit pricing calculations and management and performance fee reviews.
- Investigate cash, asset and valuation breaks, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support the operational processing of complex and bespoke investment transactions.
- Liaise with Front Office, custodians and internal operations teams to resolve trade and settlement issues.
- Ensure month-end cash, asset and valuation reconciliations are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and controls.

About You

- Experience in Middle Office, Investment Operations, Portfolio Operations.
- A strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, from trade booking through to settlement.
- Exposure to investment products such as fixed income, equities, FX and OTC derivatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing cash and asset reconciliations.
- Previous involvement in month-end clearance and reporting processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders.
