BMS Heavy Cranes is a world leader in heavy-lift operations, specialising in renewable energy and major infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Support Crane Operator to join our team, supporting complex heavy-lift operations across Australia and the APAC region.
Key responsibilities
- Operate support cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with lift plans and site procedures
- Assist with crane assembly, rigging, mobilisation and demobilisation, including large crawler cranes such as the Liebherr LG1750
- Support Superlift installation, ballast handling and crane configuration activities
- Work closely with crane operators, doggers, riggers and site supervisors
- Conduct pre-start inspections, report equipment defects and maintain equipment to a high standard
- Comply with all site safety procedures and HSE-Q requirements
About you
- Proven experience operating support cranes in heavy-lift or similar environments
- Current relevant High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Experience supporting large crawler cranes and Superlift systems highly regarded
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence (C Class minimum; HR/HC preferred)
- Forklift and Wheel Loader licences advantageous
- Solid safety awareness, communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Full working rights in Australia are essential
- Willingness to travel and work on projects across Australia and the APAC region
