Sales, customer service and a little more sales mixed in for good measure. Your mission is to introduce new businesses to Office Fruit Group, win over potential customers and occasionally convince an old customer to come back after discovering the grass (or fruit) wasn't greener elsewhere.
Key responsibilities
- Winning new business: Cold calling, prospecting, following up leads and turning conversations into customers.
- Building relationships: Getting to know our customers and making them feel like more than just an account number.
- Assisting customers: make with changes, enquiries and general customer service.
- Closing deals: Preparing quotes, overcoming objections and getting that wonderful feeling when someone says YES!
- Helping the team: Supporting customer service, solving problems and pitching in wherever needed.
- Spotting opportunities: Upselling products and finding new ways to grow the business.
- Keeping organised: Managing customer records, contact lists and follow-ups.
- Getting creative: Contributing ideas to our marketing and social media.
About you
- You genuinely love sales and get a buzz out of winning new customers.
- You've got personality, confidence and a great sense of humour.
- You're a natural people person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone.
- You're motivated, organised and don't need someone standing over your shoulder.
- You can think on your feet and enjoy solving problems.
- You're happy to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
- You're comfortable using Google Workspace, Excel and everyday business systems.
- You can write a great email and know the difference between their, there and they're.
- You understand that working in a small business means being flexible, adaptable and part of a team.
- Previous sales experience is important. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as essential.
