About the role
Reporting to the owners of DAOSA, the role involves carrying out day to day vineyard duties to assist the Vineyard Operator.
Key requirements include In coordination with the Vineyard Operator :
- Operation and maintenance of a range of modern vineyard tractors and equipment,
- Manual pruning, canopy management and training of vines,
- Irrigation maintenance and operations during growing season,
- Safe handling, mixing and application of chemicals
- Mowing, slashing and brush cutting.
About You A previous experience in tractor and farm equipment operation is essential along with the ability to work well in a team. The applicant will need to be physically fit and able to undertake outdoor and manual tasks.
Positive mechanical skills, good people management skills, good knowledge of vineyard irrigation management and maintenance.
Valid Driver's license, Forklift License.
