We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Manager to oversee the daily running of our sandwich shop. You’ll lead the team, maintain food quality and make sure customers receive friendly, efficient service.
This is an active role that includes preparing food, serving customers and supporting the team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations, including opening and closing.
- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items to consistent standards.
- Lead and train staff, organise rotas and allocate daily tasks.
- Keep service running smoothly during busy breakfast and lunch periods.
- Manage stock, place orders, check deliveries and minimise food waste.
- Maintain food hygiene, allergen awareness and cleaning standards.
- Oversee cash handling, till accuracy and daily sales records.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
About you
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a sandwich shop, café, takeaway or similar food business.
- Confident preparing food and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example.
- A positive understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Reliable, practical and calm under pressure.
- Available to work six days per week, including weekends.
Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
