Agar Cleaning Systems is afamily-run manufacturer and supplier ofhigh quality industrial and general cleaning products for commerce andindustry,available directly andthrough distributors and re-sellers.

Weneeda fit and willing storepersonto work with our friendly team at our warehouse in Preston, Victoria. This energetic, conscientious,and reliable person will carry out stores work and the occasional delivery of goods to customers in the Melbourne region.

The position is full time, working week days from 7:30am to 4:00pm. There may be some occasional overtime on weekdays.

The successful applicant's primary responsibilities anddutieswillinclude:

Picking ordered goods for delivery or collection

Forklift driving - storingaway inward goods shipments

Forklift driving - loading and unloading trucks

Stock counting

We are seekingsomeone whoenjoys doing physical stores work, working with a team to achieve daily goals,



and dealing courteously with people of all backgrounds. They need to have a good ability to communicate with fellow staff and customers, a good level of stamina for physical work,accurate basic numerical skills.

Most of our products are chemical liquids packed in 5 litre and 20 litre containers, so the successful applicantmustbe able to regularlylift goods weighing up to 25kg.

A forklift licence and driving experience is essential for this role. You will be required to operate the forklift truck in our warehouse, yard and on-street, and we handle some materials classified as dangerous goods.

Consistent attendance, being adaptable to changing duties, and anability to work calmly under pressure and 'get on with the job' are all important.

Proven experience in similar roles will be advantageous.
