Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
- Work on complex financial trading platforms, ensuring reliability, stability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues independently and perform advanced performance tuning.
- Write unit tests and maintain code quality using JUnit and Mockito.
- Work with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, to develop and optimize SQL queries.
- Use Maven, Git/GitHub, Docker, Linux, shell scripting, and Python for application development and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve system efficiency.
- Contribute to application deployment, monitoring, and operational support.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands‑on experience in Java application development.




- Proficiency in Maven and Spring Boot.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases (RDBMS), and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Linux, and shell scripting.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Substantial experience working with complex financial trading systems or platforms.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform advanced application performance tuning.

Desirable Skills

- Kubernetes and Helm.
- Argo CD for continuous delivery and deployment.
- Grafana and Loki for monitoring, observability, and log analysis.
- Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- AWS services, particularly Aurora, EKS, and S3.
- AI engineering and AI‑assisted development tools, including Claude Code.

Required Experience

- 8–10 years of experience in application software development, with a strong focus on Java.
- Significant hands‑on experience developing, managing, or supporting sophisticated financial trading platforms.
- Proven ability to independently investigate complex application issues and optimize performance.
- Experience working with modern application development, deployment, and monitoring tools.
