Palmyra TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacy is looking for two reliable, organised and detail oriented Dispense Technicians/Stock Controllers to join our friendly pharmacy team.
We are looking for two people who take pride in accuracy, enjoy working in a team and are passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of our local community.
Role 1 Key Responsibilities -Dispense Technician
- Accurately prepare and pack Mypak medication packs in accordance with established procedures and pharmacist direction.
- Assist with dispensing prescriptions and other dispensary duties within your training and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate medication packing records and complete relevant documentation.
- Assist with stock management and maintain an organised dispensary.
Follow pharmacy procedures, medication safety standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members to support efficient dispensary operations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through friendly, professional and respectful service.
Role 2 Key Responsibilities - Mine site supply chain administrator
- Process purchase orders from mine sites for medicines, medical equipment and first aid supplies. Ordering and packing appropriate stock from numerous suppliers.
- Receipting stock and then invoicing to appropriate mine site
- Packing orders and organising appropriate couriers for collection of orders
- Labelling medications before dispatch.
- Receipting expired medications.
- Providing medical advice to medics on mine sites and onboard ships
- making deliveries to various airline terminals and freight companies
- providing quotations to corporate clients
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy dispensary, stock control, paramedicine or nursing
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Valuable organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to follow procedures and work methodically in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work some weekends as required.
- A responsible and dependable approach, with a commitment to patient safety.
