About the Role

As an Assistant Educator, you will play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging and child-safe learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting the delivery of meaningful,



age-appropriate learning experiences guided by Montessori principles.

- Building positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

- Encouraging children's independence, curiosity, confidence and sense of belonging.

- Supporting daily routines and ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing remain a priority.

- Working collaboratively with Room Leaders and educators to provide high-quality education and care.

- Creating an inclusive environment that celebrates every child's unique strengths, abilities and individual needs.

- Maintaining a strong commitment to child safety, professional boundaries and safeguarding responsibilities.

About You

We're looking for educators who bring warmth, positivity and a genuine passion for working with children.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.

- A current Victorian Working with Children Check, or VIT registration where applicable.

- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

- A commitment to providing safe, inclusive and nurturing learning experiences.

- A genuine interest in Montessori education and supporting children's independence.

- Previous experience in an early childhood education setting will be highly regarded.

Montessori experience is highly regarded but not essential. We welcome educators who are eager to learn and grow with us!
