We have a vacancy for an Apprentice Electrician in Wetherill Park, NSW supporting the assembly and wiring of custom-built electrical switchboards.

The Role
As an electrical apprentice, you will be based within the workshop assisting in the assembly and wiring of low-voltage switchboards. You will learn all aspects of the electrical trade including, but not limited to, interpreting electrical schematics, installing electrical components such as circuit breakers and conducting basic testing.
This 4-year apprenticeship will provide you with the theoretical and practical skills to develop yourself into a highly skilled and competent trades person,
with structured training provided both on-the-job and through formal TAFE education.
The Person
We are looking for a reliable, team player who is able to work as part of the Electrical Integration team, with a commitment to learning and ongoing development, capable of completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician).
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a willingness to learn and commitment to complete 4 -year apprenticeship, including training onsite and externally
- Have positive English language and numerical understanding, and mechanical aptitude
- Be able to work full time, starting at 6am - Monday to Friday
- Be able to complete manual handling tasks
- Have basic computer skills or willingness to learn, including B&R; systems and Microsoft Office
- Adhere to all Work Health & Safety and Quality requirements
- Have own transport to get to and from work
- Have a passion for quality and excellent attention to detail
- Complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug & alcohol testing
