Devco Australia is looking for an experienced, hands-on Manufacturing & Warehouse Operator to join our small production team in a permanent, full-time position.

We are a privately owned business specialising in the processing and supply of sulphur products. Our operations cover the full production process, from receiving and storing raw materials through to processing, packing and dispatching finished goods.

This is a practical, varied role for someone who already understands how a factory or warehouse operates and can hit the ground running. You will be involved in day-to-day production, equipment operation, materials handling and dispatch, with the chance to develop a strong understanding of our specialised operation.

We're looking for an experienced operator who wants a stable, long-term position and is ready to become a reliable part of our team. This is not an entry-level role. You should already have solid experience in a manufacturing, factory or warehouse environment and be comfortable getting on with the job.

What you'll be doing

- Operating production and processing equipment.

- Handling raw materials and finished products throughout the production process.

- Bagging, packing, inspecting and preparing finished goods for dispatch.

- Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers.

- Operating forklifts, where licensed, and pallet wrapping equipment.

- Following production plans and ensuring orders are prepared on time.

- Completing quality checks,

production records and delivery paperwork accurately.

- Carrying out routine equipment checks and helping maintain machinery in a safe, reliable condition.

- Maintaining good housekeeping standards across the production and warehouse areas.

- Following safety procedures and taking responsibility for your own safety and that of your teammates.

This is a physically active role involving repetitive tasks and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 kg.

What we're looking for

Experience is essential. You must have at least two years of relevant experience in a warehouse, factory or manufacturing environment. Five years or more would be ideal.

We are particularly interested in people who have experience with production operations, machinery, materials handling, loading and unloading, packing or dispatch.

You will also bring:

- A genuine desire for a long-term, permanent role
- A strong work ethic and a practical, hands-on approach.

- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence operating equipment.

- The ability to work independently, follow instructions and keep production moving.

- Good attention to detail when handling products and completing paperwork.

- A reliable and consistent approach to attendance and punctuality.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team.

- A positive attitude,

willingness to take responsibility and respect for your colleagues.

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

A current forklift licence is highly desirable.

You must hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport, as the worksite is not serviced by public transport.

What we offer

- $35–$40 per hour, depending on your experience and suitability.

- Permanent, full-time employment with a long-term outlook.

- Consistent weekday hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am–3 pm.

- A supportive, experienced team in a small, specialised operation.

- Varied, hands-on work across manufacturing, equipment operation and warehouse operations.

- The opportunity to build your knowledge and become an important part of a privately owned business.

How we work at Devco

Safety always comes first. No production target or customer deadline takes priority over a safety concern.

We take pride in the quality of our products, the accuracy of our work and the service we provide to customers. We treat our colleagues with respect, communicate openly and act with honesty and integrity.

We value people who take ownership of their work, turn up reliably and understand that the success of a small team depends on everyone doing their part.

We're looking for someone who wants to settle into a permanent role, contribute to the business and build a long-term working relationship with us.

How to apply

If you have the experience we're looking for and want a stable, long-term position with consistent weekday hours, we'd like to hear from you.

Please submit your resume through SEEK, outlining your relevant manufacturing or warehouse experience, the types of equipment you have operated and any current licences you hold.
