ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity to build hands-on, end-to-end finance experience. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you ll play a key part in keeping the group s finances accurate, compliant and on time, giving leadership the clear numbers they need to direct funds where they matter most. You ll work closely with a small, supportive finance team and partner with staff across the organisation. It s the perfect platform to sharpen your technical skills and grow your career.

DUTIES

- Process supplier invoices for all group entities each week, making sure they are correctly approved, coded and compliant with policy
- Prepare supplier payments for authorisation in time for the weekly payment run, including occasional USD transactions
- Update daily bank transactions in the finance system
- Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and staff expense claims
- Reconcile supplier statements, resolve invoice queries and send remittance advice
- Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce management accounts, including P&L; and budget vs actual analysis, for review by the Finance Manager
- Prepare BAS for review and support annual budgeting and audits
- Coordinate light office administration, including stationery, mail and couriers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Australian experience in accounts payable,



bookkeeping or a similar finance support role (recent graduates with some practical experience are encouraged to apply)
- Hands-on experience with reconciliations, payment processing and month-end
- Strong Excel skills
- Ideally, experience using Microsoft Business Central
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Robust attention to detail and the ability to meet weekly deadlines
- A proactive, self-motivated team player with a passion for social justice
- A finance, accounting or bookkeeping qualification (desirable)
- A current Working with Children Check
