As a Fleet Sales Consultant at Ringwood Mazda, you will be responsible for proactively managing and growing the dealership's fleet sales business. In this full-time role, you will be based in Ringwood, VIC 3134, working closely with both corporate and small business clients to understand their fleet needs and secure sales. You will leverage your expertise in fleet management and sales to position Ringwood Mazda as the go-to partner for fleet solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Actively prospect and build relationships with potential fleet clients, including corporate organisations and small businesses
- Understand the unique needs of each fleet customer and deliver tailored solutions that meet their requirements
- Negotiate and close fleet sales deals, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience for clients
- Provide ongoing support and account management to existing fleet customers with a current portfolio
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fleet industry trends, regulations and Mazda product offerings
- Collaborate with the broader sales team to achieve monthly and annual fleet sales targets
- Maintain detailed records and reporting on all fleet activities and performance
- Cold calling customers to set up meetings
- Vehicle deliveries and handovers
- Ensure paperwork is accurate and invoicing is correct
- Dealing with FMO's and financier's
About you
- Experience in fleet sales or a related automotive sales role
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, negotiating and closing fleet sales deals
- Strong understanding of fleet management principles and the unique needs of corporate and small business fleet customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clients
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Passion for the automotive industry and Mazda brand
- Previous experience using ERA and Saleslogs (not essential)
- Previous Fleet Sales Experience (not essential dependant on applicant)
