About the Company Our client is an agricultural service company based on Eyre Peninsula South Australia. This farming region is considered a progressive area with growers embracing a rapid adoption of current technology and farming techniques.

About the role

As a Graduate Agronomist you’ll join our small, expert team to apply this agronomic science in a hands-on way, learning to guide local farmers through seasonal crop planning and input decisions.

Responsibilities

- On-farm agronomy
- Pest and disease management
- Product advice
- Farm planning and support
- Customer service and teamwork

Education / Experience / Skills

- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s or higher) in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 0–3 years’ related experience (e.g. internships, farm work, ag-study) in broadacre or horticultural cropping.



Familiarity with SA cropping systems (wheat, barley, canola, legumes) is beneficial.
- Basic agronomic knowledge – including soil fertility, plant nutrition and pest management. Willingness to learn our tools (e.g. farm-management software, soil testing kits) and keep up to date with emerging best-practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with farmers and our team. Self-motivated, practical problem-solver with a “farmer-first” mindset – ready to get hands-on in the field. A valid driver’s licence is required for farm visits.
