Remuneration: $153,559 - $182,954 (plus superannuation and leave loading)

Requisition ID: REQ701260

About The Opportunity

Health Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Green Star Lead to join its Sustainability team and lead our portfolio-wide approach to Green Star certification. You will lead HI’s strategic response to Green Star certification, providing specialist expertise and strategic oversight to support consistent sustainability outcomes and compliance with NSW Government requirements.

You will work across project teams and with internal and external stakeholders to establish practical certification pathways, guide credit strategies and evidence requirements, and embed sustainability requirements through planning, design, procurement and delivery. Working across a diverse statewide portfolio, you will use strong collaboration and sound judgement to translate complex technical requirements into clear project actions and influence healthier, lower-carbon and more resilient health infrastructure across NSW.

This is an opportunity to influence sustainability outcomes beyond individual projects, using lessons learnt, evidence and industry practice to strengthen how Green Star is delivered across Health Infrastructure.

This is a fixed term full-time opportunity for a two-year period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to appoint to similar future roles (ongoing or temporary), or to create a Talent Pool for roles that may arise over the next 18 months.

About You

You are an experienced sustainability professional with strong Green Star expertise and the judgement to navigate complex certification,

technical and delivery issues. You can analyse complex information, interpret policy, standards and technical information and turn them into clear, practical guidance and advice for project teams and senior stakeholders.

You are a confident communicator and influencer who can work across different disciplines, priorities and perspectives to build agreement and resolve issues. Just as importantly, you can look beyond individual projects, identify recurring challenges and lessons, and translate these into practical guidance, frameworks and improvements that strengthen sustainability outcomes across a portfolio.

You will bring relevant tertiary qualifications and Green Star Accredited Professional credentials.
