This is a local driving position involving container transport, sideloader operations, and tautliner work, with ongoing and stable work available for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Safe loading, securing and transportation of containers and freight
- Operating sideloaders and container transport equipment
- Conducting daily pre-start and vehicle inspections
- Completing required transport documentation
- Complying with all road safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and company procedures
- Secure delivery and collection of containers at customer and port locations
- General duties as required
About you
- Current HC or MC Licence
- Proven sideloader experience
- Current MSIC Card
- Experience working within Flinders Ports
- Tautliner experience
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Reliable, safety-focused and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Previous container transport experience
- Knowledge of Adelaide's port and transport network
