Western Australian Treasury Corporation (WATC) is the State's central financial services provider, delivering funding, investment, treasury, risk management and advisory solutions to the Western Australian Government sector. The Position:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Finance and Treasury Operations is responsible for leading and managing WATC's Finance, Administration and Treasury Operations business unit. The position provides effective financial stewardship, strategic financial advice and operational oversight, ensuring that WATC's financial management operations and corporate administrative functions are delivered accurately, efficiently and in accordance with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will contribute to WATC's ongoing success through commercial insights and strong stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will lead a capable team where you will contribute to uplifting organisation capability and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

About You:

You are an accomplished finance leader who combines strong technical expertise with sound judgement and the ability to influence at executive level.

You will bring

- Significant leadership experience in finance, treasury, accounting or financial management roles.
- Expertise in financial reporting, governance, audit, compliance and financial control frameworks.
- Experience partnering with executive teams and senior stakeholders.




- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and sound professional judgement.
- A track record of leading teams and improving organisational effectiveness.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or business together with skilled accreditation such as CA, CPA, CFA or CIMA.
