About us
Travel and Sports Australia (TASA) is a Perth-based travel and sports tourism company specialising in personalised travel experiences, major sporting events, corporate travel and group travel. From international sporting events and corporate experiences to tailored holidays and group travel, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for our clients. We're a close-knit team that values hard work, collaboration and a genuine commitment to doing things well. We believe the best results come from people working together, supporting one another and taking collective responsibility for what we deliver.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Travel, Event and Sports Manager to join our team at our Mount Lawley office in a full-time position. This is a varied and hands‑on role combining travel consultancy, event coordination, group travel management and client relationship management. You'll be involved in everything from creating tailored travel itineraries and managing individual bookings to coordinating major sporting events, corporate groups and international travel programs. You'll work closely with clients, suppliers and fellow team members to ensure every booking and event is delivered to a high standard. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to the wider team, takes ownership of their work and is willing to get involved wherever needed to achieve the best possible outcome.

Key responsibilities
Design and manage tailored travel packages, itineraries and experiences for individual clients, corporate groups and sporting events. Coordinate group travel and event logistics, including flights, accommodation, transfers, ticketing and other travel arrangements.

Liaise with domestic and international suppliers to negotiate competitive rates, manage bookings and ensure smooth delivery. Manage client communications throughout the booking and travel process, providing professional advice and resolving issues as they arise. Process bookings, payments and travel documentation accurately and efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel suppliers, sporting organisations and industry partners. Contribute ideas and identify opportunities to improve our products, processes and customer experience. Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge, supporting workloads and assisting across different areas of the business when required. Take ownership of assigned bookings, projects and responsibilities, ensuring tasks are followed through and completed to a high standard. The person we’re looking for While experience and industry knowledge are key, we’re equally focused on finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and approach to being part of a team. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with others, takes pride in their work and understands that delivering exceptional results is a collective effort. In particular, we’re looking for someone who: Puts the team first. Understands that success is shared, willingly supports colleagues and doesn’t operate with a ‘that’s not my job’ mentality.

Takes ownership and shows initiative. Is proactive, dependable and committed to seeing things through without needing constant direction or follow‑up. Is collaborative and inclusive. Shares knowledge, welcomes different perspectives and contributes to an environment where everyone feels respected, supported and valued. Takes pride in doing things properly. Pays attention to detail, holds themselves to a high standard and genuinely cares about the quality of their work. Is flexible and willing to get involved. Recognizes that priorities can change, particularly around major events, and is prepared to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Has a positive, solutions‑focused attitude. Approaches challenges constructively, takes responsibility when things don’t go to plan and works with others to find solutions. We’re not looking for someone who simply completes their own tasks and considers the job done. We want someone who takes an interest in the bigger picture, supports the people around them and shares our commitment to delivering the best possible experience for our clients. What we’re looking for At least 3 years’ experience as a travel consultant, travel agent or in a similar travel industry role, preferred. Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, booking processes and itinerary planning. Experience with travel booking systems such as Galileo, Amadeus or similar. Experience coordinating group travel, sporting events or corporate travel programs would be highly regarded. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with confidence dealing with clients, suppliers and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Sound k
