An established organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced HR Advisor.
Working closely with the HR Manager, this is a hands-on opportunity to contribute across operational HR and improvement initiatives, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting performance reviews and performance improvement processes
- Coordinating learning, development and mandatory training
- Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures
- Providing practical employee relations advice to managers
- Supporting disciplinary matters, investigations and conflict resolution
- Assisting with remuneration reviews and workforce planning
- Contributing to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Supporting Return to Work and workplace health programs
- Providing backup support for payroll processing
- Ensuring HR practices align with Australian employment legislation and relevant Awards
What you'll need to succeed:
- You'll have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline,
along with a minimum of five years' HR experience.
- You'll bring strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and practical experience across employee relations, performance management and HR policy development.
- You'll be a confident communicator who can build trusted relationships and coach managers, while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Experience within manufacturing or an industrial environment will be highly regarded, as will exposure to payroll or HR systems, relevant Up-to-date Awards and Return to Work coordination.
