HSEQ Officer - Global Technology Business

We're partnering with an established global technology business to recruit an HSEQ Officer based in Macquarie Park.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative organisation during a period of growth and investment. Working across Australia and New Zealand, you'll play a key role in maintaining HSEQ standards, supporting compliance and ensuring the smooth running of the Sydney office.

The Role

Reporting to a senior leader and working closely with the wider People & Culture team, this position combines approximately 60% HSEQ responsibilities with 40% office and facilities management.

With employees based in NSW and Victoria and clients operating across all Australian states, you'll need a strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements nationally. You'll also work closely with an HSEQ Coordinator based in Current Zealand.

Key responsibilities include

- Manage WHS compliance, policies, procedures and risk management across Australian operations.
- Coordinate ISO 45001 audit preparation, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and workplace safety initiatives.
- Manage WHS inductions, contractor safety requirements and employee training.
- Conduct periodic warehouse site inspections and collaborate with the NZ-based HSEQ Coordinator to support consistent safety practices across the region.
- Maintain accurate safety records,



risk registers and compliance documentation.
- Oversee day-to-day Sydney office operations, including facilities, maintenance and external service providers.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a safe and compliant working environment.

About You You'll be an organised, proactive and approachable HSEQ professional who enjoys balancing technical compliance with broader operational responsibilities.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Approximately five years' experience in WHS, HSEQ or a similar health and safety role.
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements across all Australian states and territories.
- Experience with ISO 45001, including audit preparation and management systems.
- Sound understanding of risk assessments, incident management and safety documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A hands-on, adaptable approach and willingness to support office and facilities operations.

Experience within corporate, technology,



multisite or warehousing environments will be highly regarded. Why Consider This Role?
