Human Resource Adviser - based in Ravenhall, VIC 3023

Fast & Safe Deliveries Pty Ltd is an Australian delivery and logistics business based in Ravenhall, Melbourne, Victoria. The company operates as an independent Amazon Delivery Service Partner, specialising in the delivery of packages to customers in the local community, with a focus on providing secure, reliable and efficient delivery services.

A full-time position as a Human Resource Adviser is available for an immediate start due to the company’s growth.

The duties and responsibilities of the position of Human Resource Adviser will include the following:

· Planning and coordinating vacancy listings, conducting interviews, administering candidate assessments, and providing assistance to management in finalising hiring decisions.

· Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with prospective hires.

· Organising onboarding of new hires, ensuring they thoroughly understand their employment terms, compensation packages, and career pathways.

· Using the company’s human resource information systems to maintain personnel files securely in a digital environment.

· Providing high quality advice on company policies, applicable workplace awards, performance management frameworks, and formal disciplinary actions.

· Liaising with management for documenting details about , wages and conditions of employment for each role.

· Sharing information on current job openings internally with company employees.

· Advising on legislation, awards, collective agreements and employment contracts,



remuneration and dispute settlement procedures and examining and resolving disputes and grievances.

· Assisting the management in designing progressive workplace policies to support both management and employees into creating an efficient and flexible workplace

· Facilitating the establishment of employee participation core group (EPCG) and health, safety and wellbeing group (HSWG) aimed for periodic consultation with employees and boosting their participation in workplace decisions.

The candidate should be self-motivated and employee-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail is important in the role. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a self-starter and skilled at negotiations and proposing solutions. The candidate must be hard-working, organised, creative and passionate about working in a team environment.

The successful candidate needs to have a minimum of Bachelor degree in Human Resources (or a higher qualification in the field of Human Resources) and at least 2 years of full-time work experience in the field of Human Resources, preferably with an Australian company/institution.
