We are seeking an experienced ICT Procurement Specialist to support a major, multi-year government digital transformation program. The program spans digital platforms, AI and automation, data and knowledge management, service assurance, and operating model transformation .

The successful candidate will provide strategic sourcing, procurement and commercial advice, working closely with ICT Strategic Sourcing teams and project stakeholders to deliver complex procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic ICT sourcing and procurement approaches.
- Lead procurement planning, market research, supplier engagement and tendering activities.
- Prepare tender documentation, statements of work, evaluation plans and contractual deliverables.
- Develop, negotiate and manage ICT contracts using QITC frameworks.
- Manage supplier performance, contract variations, extensions, payment milestones and commercial risks.
- Provide commercial advice relating to digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, data services and professional services.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Queensland Procurement Policy 2026 (QPP 2026) and relevant government contracting frameworks.
- Collaborate with project teams, legal advisers, procurement specialists and senior stakeholders.
- Support procurement governance, probity,



risk management and value-for-money outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements

- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing, negotiating and managing ICT contracts using QITC.
- Strong strategic ICT procurement experience, including sourcing strategy, market engagement, tendering and evaluation.
- Experience negotiating complex ICT and professional services contracts.
- Strong contract management experience, including supplier performance, milestone payments, variations and commercial issue resolution.
- Practical experience applying Queensland Procurement Policy 2026 (QPP 2026) .
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiation and risk management skills.

Highly Desirable

- Queensland Government ICT procurement experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-year digital transformation programs.
- Procurement experience across digital platforms, AI, automation, data services or skilled services.
- Experience working within central procurement teams while embedded in delivery projects.
- Knowledge of QITC, GITC and General Goods and Services contracting frameworks.
- Experience across both public and private sector environments.
