Whizdom is partnering with a leading Australian organisation to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to join a growing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an infrastructure professional who enjoys working across modern Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, networking, security and workplace services within a dynamic multi-site environment.
We're looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Administrator who can take ownership of operational infrastructure activities, support critical business systems, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives. You'll play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable and high-performing network and cloud services while supporting project delivery and technology modernisation.
Provide vital support across:
- Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services
- Network administration including routing, VLANs, VPNs and SD-WAN
- FortiGate firewall management and security administration
- Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams
- Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments
- Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix administration
- Intune device management and Windows endpoint deployment
- Backup,
disaster recovery and storage management
- Infrastructure upgrades, migrations and integration projects
- PowerShell scripting and automation initiatives
- This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse technology landscape, collaborating with infrastructure, cyber security, service desk and project teams to deliver reliable services and continuous improvements. You'll have exposure to enterprise-scale cloud and networking technologies while helping shape the future technology workplace.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure, systems or network administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise networking environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions
- Experience with Windows Server, Windows 11 and Intune administration
- Azure Virtual Desktop and FSLogix support experience
- PowerShell scripting and automation capability
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
- MSP or multi-site enterprise environment experience highly regarded
- Relevant IT qualifications and/or industry certifications desirable
