Our client, a well-established Australian engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking an Internal Sales person to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role combining technical drawing, customer interaction, and sales, making it ideal for someone who understands both the technical and commercial sides of a business.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, modify and review drawings using CAD software (CAD experience essential)
- Interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions
- Prepare quotations and provide technical sales support
- Follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion rates
- Build strong relationships with customers via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
- Liaise with production and engineering teams regarding specifications, lead times and project requirement

About You:





- Previous experience in an internal sales, technical sales or customer-facing role
- Practical experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
- Robust communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- The ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A proactive approach to following up opportunities and generating sales outcomes
