About the Role
Location: Hazelmere
Hours: 8:00 – 4:00 Monday – Friday
Duties
- Document control for tender packages;
- Accurately read and interpret irrigation plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation to estimate costs;
- Coordinate inputs from key supply chain vendors and subcontractors, including RFQ process and tender evaluation;
- Issue quote requests to relevant trades and suppliers;
- Preparing estimate pricing and take-offs;
- Developing a thorough understanding of tender/project requirements and outcomes; including technical specifications, budgets, safety management, quality and program;
- Assess subcontractor/supplier quotes for completeness against project scope;
- Handover to construction team on successful tenders; and
- Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions, project schedules, resource histograms and construction methodologies for submission.
About You
- Irrigation knowledge or experience;
- Experience in an administration or estimating role;
- Experience with an applicable role which included computer skills, customer service, ERP systems so they would be able to pick it up quickly;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and work in rapid paced environment;
- Problem solving abilities;
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel and Word; and
- Experience with on-center or planswift software is advantageous.
