We’re looking for passionate and talented culinary professionals to join the pre-opening team at Rivo Restaurant and help create memorable dining experiences from day one.

Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie, a developing Demi Chef or an enthusiastic Commis Chef, this is your opportunity to contribute your skills, creativity and passion for food while growing your career with Marriott International.

As part of our pre-opening team, you'll help establish the kitchen standards, routines and culture that will define Rivo from the very beginning.

Positions Available

Chef de Partie – Full-Time

Take ownership of your section, lead by example and support our culinary leadership team in delivering consistently high-quality food and service.

Demi Chef – Part-Time

Work alongside experienced chefs, supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining culinary standards and continuing to develop your technical skills.

Commis Chef – Part-Time

Build your culinary experience in a professional hotel kitchen, developing your skills while assisting with food preparation, cooking and presentation.

What You'll Do

Depending on your position and experience, your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with recipes, quality standards and presentation expectations.

- Support daily mise en place and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

- Maintain food quality, consistency, portion control and presentation.

- Ensure workstations are clean, organised and prepared for service.

- Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

- Work collaboratively with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams.





- Support and guide junior team members where appropriate.

- Contribute to creating a positive, collaborative and high-performing kitchen culture.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for culinary professionals who share our passion for quality, teamwork and attention to detail.

You'll ideally bring

- Previous commercial kitchen experience relevant to the position you're applying for.

- A recognised Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent culinary qualification.

- Solid food preparation and cooking skills.

- A commitment to food safety, hygiene and consistent quality.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
