About the role
Based at our Sunshine office, the Junior Fleet Controller will provide operational and administrative support to assist with the effective coordination of daily fleet activities. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, with the prospect to progress into a Fleet Controller role. Once established and confident in the role, there may also be opportunities for occasional work-from-home days.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and monitoring of daily fleet operations
- Maintain accurate records and update internal computer systems
- Support fleet scheduling and transport coordination activities
- Assist with route planning and delivery coordination
- Liaise with team members to support the efficient operation of the fleet
- Undertake general administrative duties as required
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
- Knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan suburbs
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work within a fast-paced environment
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Reliable, responsible and professional approach to work
