Ascham is one of the world’s leading girls’ schools, and since its foundation in 1886 has educated girls who develop into confident, independent, compassionate young women. Ascham is an inclusive, day and boarding school for students in years P-12, within a warm, welcoming and collaborative environment.
We value staff who demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to their work and have a willingness to participate in the life of the School. We look for energetic, dedicated and capable staff who are full of ideas; embrace a fast-paced setting; and demonstrate initiative, empathy and professionalism to help the School achieve its strategic objectives.
About These Roles
We are seeking two part-time Receptionist and Attendance Officers to join our Junior School team at Fiona, our Years 3-6 campus. As a key member of our front-office team, you will help create a positive experience for students, families, staff and visitors while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy and vibrant school environment. These term-time positions work either a morning shift (7.30am-12.00pm) or afternoon shift (12.00pm-5.00pm), Monday to Friday, as part of a collaborative two-person reception team. While working during school terms only, your salary will be annualised and paid throughout the year.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll play an important part in student well being, school operations and community engagement, working closely with students, families and colleagues across the School.
If you're looking for a role that combines customer service, administration and meaningful engagement with a vibrant school community, we'd love to hear from you.

- Provide administrative support to the Junior School leadership team and assist with day-to-day campus operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Junior and Senior Schools to deliver an exceptional school experience.
What You Will Bring
- A warm, professional and customer-focused approach, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven administrative experience, strong technology skills and sound judgement when handling confidential information.
