Manolas Bros is an established deli, bar and bistro in the Capri on Via Roma lifestyle precinct, known for Mediterranean food, premium produce and warm, polished hospitality.

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand and Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen organised, clean and ready for service. This role suits someone who works steadily, takes pride in doing the job properly and contributes wherever needed.

You will support the kitchen throughout preparation and service by keeping equipment, utensils and work areas clean and ready to use.

· Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment

· Keep the dishwashing area clean, safe and organised

· Return clean items promptly to the correct storage areas

· Maintain clean floors, benches, sinks and waste areas

· Complete opening, service and closing cleaning tasks

· Assist with basic food preparation when required

· Receive and store deliveries under direction

· Manage rubbish, recycling and cardboard safely

· Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

· Communicate with the chefs and respond quickly to service priorities

· Support the wider team during busy periods

About You

You are dependable, practical and willing to contribute. You can maintain a steady pace, follow instructions and keep your work area organised when the kitchen is busy.

· Previous kitchen-hand, dishwashing or cleaning experience is valued but not essential

· A strong work ethic and pride in maintaining cleanliness

· The ability to work efficiently and safely in a busy kitchen

· Reliability, punctuality and a cooperative attitude





· The physical capacity to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry kitchen items

· The ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures

· Availability across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends

Essential Application Requirements

Applicants must

· Currently live on the Gold Coast or in the immediate surrounding area

· Hold valid working rights in Australia at the time of application

· Be available to attend an interview in person at Manolas Bros, Isle of Capri

· Provide details of at least two recent professional referees with their application
