Talent Quarter are proud to partner with a close-knit 20-bed regional hospital seeking a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead and inspire the clinical team in delivering exceptional care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Aged Care manager to step into the role of Nurse Unit manager in a facility that offers aged & acute care. Benefits on offer:
- Base salary up to $131,000 + super

- Unique opportunity for experienced Aged Care manager to lead a small community focused hospital The role: As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, lead clinical governance, and mentor staff to uphold best practice standards. Duties include:
- Lead and manage nursing and care staff across a 20-bed inpatient unit
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, policies, and aged care regulations
- Promote a positive, respectful, and safe setting for residents and staff
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in clinical care
- Coordinate rostering, staff development, and performance management To be successful you will have:
- Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration) with minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience
- Proven leadership experience,
ideally in aged care or a rural health setting
- Sound understanding of aged care standards and person-centred care principles
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
