Lead BI Designer

- Location: Ultimo NSW ( flexible + hybrid )
- Contract until 31 March 2027 (possible extension, not guaranteed)
- Daily Rate: $847 - $1,101 + Super (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Lead BI Designer to join a major enterprise environment and lead the delivery of innovative Business Intelligence solutions. (enhancing enterprise reporting, dashboards, visual analytics and BI capabilities that support strategic decision-making across the organisation)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and champion the design and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions, dashboards, scorecards and enterprise reporting.
- Manage and mentor a team of SQL Developers, providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Review, design and implement Microsoft BI solutions aligned with enterprise architecture
- Develop scalable, secure and reliable data models and reporting solutions integrating multiple data sources.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, data models and BI designs.
- Design,



optimise and maintain complex SQL queries and reporting solutions.
- Ensure robust documentation of BI designs, standards and implementation plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BI capability, performance and service delivery.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality analytics outcomes.

Primary Skills :-
- Demonstrated experience leading BI development or BI design teams in a large enterprise environment.
- Advanced SQL development and database querying skills.
- Solid experience with Microsoft BI technologies, including Power BI and SQL Server-based solutions.
- Experience designing enterprise dashboards, reports and visual analytics solutions.
- Strong data modelling and data warehousing knowledge.
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and convert them into scalable BI solutions.
